Founder’s Story:

Luke Francis is backed by over eight years working commercially in the creative industries, including a former position with the talented Taxi Studio team for more than seven years and a Co-Creative Director role at Boneshaker Magazine. Luke’s first self-shot documentary film Beulah, made in collaboration with Brother Cycles and Pannier, has gained recognition at adventure film festivals across the UK and around the world.

Whilst at Taxi Studio, Luke worked across graphic design, branding and motion disciplines, picking up awards from the likes of D&AD and The Design Week Awards. Rising from a junior position to become the lead Motion Creative; he worked closely with the Creative Partners, Managing Director and Digital Producer to carve out a niche role in the business.

Taxi’s motion offering also paved the way for self-initiated animated shorts, most notably Creative Discomforts which premiered at the D&AD New Blood Festival in 2018, and has since won the self promotion category at the The Drum Design Awards 2019. The film aims to instil creative courage into those starting out in the industry, gaining insight on what it means to be Fearless about creativity.
